Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2004 Volvo XC70 AWD. I would rate the exterior of this XC70 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking wagon. It is finished in black over tan with black trim. The black finish shines nicely and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific Volvo, there is some light damage on the bottom of the front bumper cover that should be visible in the photos. Additionally, there are a few blemishes in the finish on the hood and a small dent around the handle on the LR door. Overall, not bad for an older vehicle. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding is present and shows well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The alloy wheels show well for their age and are wrapped in nice rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this XC70 to also be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show some normal wear but are acceptable for their age. Likewise, the leather seats show some visible wear but are not excessively worn. The dash and headliner are clean. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all work properly. The sunroof does not work. The audio system sounds good through the factory speakers. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent temperature settings for both the driver and passenger. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this XC70 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The turbocharged 2.5L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The LF hub is making a little noise so you should plan on having that replaced at some point in the near future but it's not terrible yet. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. This Volvo is an absolute pleasure to drive. She feels light and nimble on the road. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints.
